Service Description

Our Pole Level 1 course is for those who have taken our Pole Basics and wish to progress on to the next level. In Level 1 to you will revisit your pole walks, spins, floor work, routines, and work on your strength and flexibility. You will begin working on more complicated spins as well as introducing more transitions with climbs and basic inversions. *There will be 2 students to a pole for this series* STEP ONE - WHAT TO PURCHASE All students wants to attend Pole Level 1 must purchase the Pole Level 1 option on MINDBODY. Other class passes will not be accepted. **YOU MUST HAVE INSTRUCTOR APPROVAL TO TAKE THIS CLASS** ***Please use the "BOOK YOUR CLASS" button located in the upper right hand corner of the home page to register and see pricing. You can also go to STEP TWO - WHAT TO WEAR/WHAT TO BRING Attire — To fully enjoy your pole experience, please wear athletic pole/yoga shorts that are tight fitting. Skin makes you stick to the pole, so there needs to be a sufficient amount showing. We also have a bathroom if you need to change once you arrive at the studio. Lotion — Please avoid applying lotions especially on the hands and legs when coming to the studio. Body balms and lotions do not always fully absorb into your skin. These will then adhere to our poles, making them dangerously slick for you and our other students. It's safe to avoid balms and lotions at least 24 hours before your scheduled class. Bring — Water to stay hydrated. Please bring your own yoga mat to class; we do not supply them (but we have them for sale if you forget!) STEP THREE - ARRIVE 15 MINUTES BEFORE YOUR FIRST CLASS STARTS Please come in 10 minutes before your first class so you can get acclimated to the studio, change (if you need to) and meet with your teacher to discuss any injuries or concerns. 5-Minute Late Policy — While we understand there are a variety of reasons for being late that may be beyond your control, for insurance and liability reasons we cannot allow students to join class if they are more than 5 minutes late. Those being denied entry for being late will not be refunded for the class. Exceptions for this are only made for medical emergencies when accompanied with a note from a licensed physician. STEP FOUR - HAVE FUN Pole Dancing is all about fun and freedom! The strength, flexibility and fluidity will all come with time and practice. In the meantime, enjoy the journey!
